Athletic passes are available for purchase on our online ticketing website. Individual game day tickets will be available the day before the event. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time.    You may review your data at any time to verify it is current. Wayland High School Physicals 24-25

If your child plans on playing a Middle School or High School sport for the 24-25 school year. They will need an updated physical that was done on or after April 15th, 2024.  The High School will be partnering with Metro Health to provide physicals at the new Metro Health Facility in Wayland on June 6th and August 6th, from 4-6. They will cost $25- cash or check only, made out to Wayland Athletics. 

Girls Varsity Softball vs. Thornapple Kellogg High School

The Varsity Softball Team defeated Thornapple Kellogg in the second game, 11-0, in 5 innings. Harmony Laker took the victory on the mound.    Madi Ludema led the offensive attack, going 4-4, with a HomeRun to end the contest. Rae Stallard was 2-3, with three RBI’s. Kaylee Lown was 3-4, with a double and two RBI’s. Shelby VanHouten was 2-4, both singles. Harmony Laker added a double. Mackenzie Kositzky added a single.   The Wildcats are now 13-3 on the season.

Boys JV Golf Defeats Grand Rapids Union

The boys JV Golf team defeated Grand Rapids Union yesterday at Alpine Golf Course by a score of 183-233.  Nice work Wildcats!

Boys JV Golf wins Ryder Cup

The two man team of Braydon Calkins and Carson Sipkema placed first out of 24 teams at the Caledonia Ryder Cup Tournament.  

Boys JV Golf Defeats West Catholic

The boys JV Golf Team defeated West Catholic last night at the Mines.  Levi Moore scored the low round of the day.  Nice work Wildcats.  

Girls Varsity Softball vs. Grand Haven High School

  The Varsity Softball team defeated HM D1, state ranked, Grand Haven, 11-5, on Saturday.  Madi Ludema took the victory on the mound, with Harmony Laker coming in for relief.   Shelby VanHouten led the offense, going 2-2, both singles. Madi Ludema was 2-4, with a double.  Harmony Laker, was 2-4, with a double. Rae Stallard was 2-4, with a double. Kaylee Lown was 2-4, with a HomeRun. Clara Dutkiewicz added a double. Mackenzie Kositzky added a single.

The Varsity Softball team defeated state ranked D1, HM, Lavonia Stevenson, 15-4, on Saturday.  Harmony Laker took the victory on the mound, allowing only three hits.  Leading the Wildcats offensively was Shelby VanHouten, going 2-2, with 2 walks.  Madi Ludema was 3-4, with 2 home runs, and 6 RBI’s.  Harmony Laker was 2-3, with a walk. Clara Dutkiewicz added a hit.  Rae Stallard added a double. Izzy Johnson added a single.

  The Varsity Softball team lost to #3 ranked Hudsonville Unity Christian, 1-4, Madi Ludema look the loss on the mound, with 11 strike outs and allowing only 5 hits.    Harmony Laker had 2 hits in the game, both singles. Madi Ludema added a triple.

Girls Varsity Softball vs. Kalamazoo Christian Schools

The Varsity Softball team defeated Kalamazoo Christian, in the second game, 16-4. Harmony Laker took the victory on the mound.The Wildcats were led offensively by Shelby VanHouten, going 3-3, with 2 RBI’s. Harmony Laker was 3-3, with a triple and 2 home runs and 7 RBI’s!  Rae Stallard was 3-3, all singles. Madi Ludema was 2-2, with a double. Kaylee Lown was 2-4, both singles. Izzy Johnson was 2-3, both singles. Clara Dutkiewicz added a hit.

Madi Ludema was 2-4, with a double. Shelby VanHouten was 2-4, with 2 RBI’s. Harmony Laker was 2-4, with 2 RBI’s.  

Girls Varsity Softball vs. South Christian High School

The Varsity Softball Team increased their record to 7-2, with a win over South Christian. Harmony Laker took the victory on the mound and Mackenzie Kositzky came as relief.  They limited the Sailors to 4 hits.Leading the offense was Kaylee Lown, going 4-4,with 4 RBI’s and a triple.  Harmony Laker was 3-4, with a double. Madi Ludema was 3-4, with a triple and 6 RBI’s.  Shelby VanHouten was 2-3, with a walk and 3 RBI’s. Rae Stallard added a hit and a walk. Kennedy Lown also added a hit and a sacrifice bunt. Madison Jordan added a triple. 

Girls Varsity Softball vs. South Christian High School

The Varsity Softball team defeated South Christian, 12-2. Madi Ludema took the victory on the mound. Leading the offensive attack was Shelby VanHouten, going 4-4 on the day. Kennedy Lown was 3-3, with a triple. Madi Ludema was 2-2, with a walk. Kaylee Lown was 2-3, with 3 RBI’s.  Harmony Laker added a triple and Clara Dutkiewicz added a single. 

Girls Varsity Softball vs. Escanaba Area Public High School

The Varsity Softball Team lost in the Championship game of the Grand Slam Lakeshore Tournament on Saturday.   The Wildcats faced #7th ranked Escanaba,  in the championship game.  Leading the Wildcats attack was Harmony Laker, getting a single and a double off U of M bound, pitcher LaMarche. Other Wildcats getting hits off LaMarche was Madi Ludema, Mackenzie Kositzky added a double. Shelby VanHouten also had a double. Rae Stallard added another double. The Wildcats are now 5-2 on the season, facing tough competition.

The Varsity Softball Team defeated Fruitport, 7-2, to increase their record to 5-1, on the season. Harmony Laker took the victory on the mound.striking out 7 batters and allowing only 4 hits,   Leading the Wildcats offense was Madi Ludema, going 2-3, in the game. Harmony Laker added a hit. Izzy Johnson and Mackenzie Kositzky added singles. Shelby VanHouten and Kaylee Lown added singles.

The Varsity Softball team defeated Whitehall 25-3 on Saturday. Madi Ludema took the victory on the mound, striking out 7 in 3 innings of play.  Mackenzie Kositzky finished the last inning with 3-4 strikeouts.  Leading the Wildcats offense was Kaylee Lown, going 4-4, with a home run, 2 doubles and a single. Madi Ludema was 3-4, with 2 doubles and a single. Shelby VanHouten was 3-5, with a double and 2 singles. Izzy Johnson was 2-4, with a double and a single. Rae Stallard was 2-4, with a home run and a double. Mackenzie Kositzky was 1-2, with a single.

The Varsity Softball Team defeated Whitehall, 25-3.  Madi Ludema took the victory on the mound.  Mackenzie Kositzky came in to pitch in the 4th inning and ended the game striking out 3-4 batters.   Ludema had 7 strikeouts.  Leading the Wildcats offense wasKaylee Lown going 4-4, with a home run and 2 doubles and a single.  Madi Ludema was 3-4, with two doubles.  Shelby VanHouten was 3-5, with a double.  Izzy Johnson was 2-4, with a double.  Rae Stalllard was 2-4, with a home run and a double.  Mackenzie Kositzky was 1-2.    The Wildcats had 15 hits.  

Boys Junior Varsity Golf vs. Wyoming High School

Wayland Boys JV Golf defeated Wyoming last night on a blustery evening.  Levi Moore had an excellent round of 40.
